Samsung Announces Galaxy Fit 2 Fitness Tracker At Its Life Unstoppable Event
Samsung has announced its Galaxy Fit 2 fitness tracker at its ‘Life Unstoppable’ virtual event. The launch of the fitness tracker follows the announcement of other gadgets like the Galaxy Tab A7, Wireless Charger Trio, and its ‘cheapest 5G phone’, the Galaxy A42, at the same event.
The Fit 2 is an update on the Galaxy Fit that was launched in June 2019 in India. Samsung says it is launching the new fitness tracker to address the increasing demand for fitness trackers. It attributes the increase in demand to the lockdown guidelines that make homes double as gyms.

The fitness tracker has a similar design as the initial Galaxy Fit and ships in two colour options; Black and Scarlet. The Fit 2 has a small 3D glass display with more than 70 face options and a touch-sensitive button on the bottom of the screen, which should be the home button.
It can automatically detect and track up to five different types of activities and also offers information like calories burned, distance, heart rate, etc. It has a sleep tracker built-in along with a Sleep Score to assess how deep your sleep was.
Samsung says the Galaxy Fit 2 can last up to 15 days on a single charge. However with minimal use and depending on the settings and conditions, it can even last up to 21 days. It also has a groove design that Samsung says is targeted at reducing sweating. Samsung has not revealed the pricing of the fitness tracker or what country and regions it will be available.
