Robert Pattinson Is Back To Set After Reportedly Testing Positive To COVID-19

Earlier this month, news broke that work on the anticipated movie paused. This is because, Robert Pattinson, tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a source who spoke to Vanity Fair.

The delay came days after “The Batman” resumed production after shutting down due to the pandemic in March. Warner Bros did not confirm who on set caught the virus but did tell Vanity Fair in a statement at the time. “A member of The Batman production tested positive for COVID-19, and is isolating”.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, aka the Batman, in the character’s early years as a detective and vigilante. Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, John Turturro star as well, with Zoë Kravitz rounding off the cast as Catwoman.

Robert Pattinson’s positive test was the most high-profile example of the hazards of restarting production during the pandemic. Hollywood is trying to find a safe way to roll cameras on films and television shows during the coronavirus era.

“The Batman” had itself only just returned to production in September. 1, after shooting roughly 25% of the film at the start of the year before the industry shut down in March. The delay forced Warner Bros. to push the film’s scheduled release from June to October 2021.
