Popular Nollywood actress Rita Dominic recently revealed that being open-minded has helped her remain relevant in Nigerian’s film industry.

In a recent interview with ee.live.ng, the actress spoke on her time in the industry, revealing the secret to her success in Nollywood.  “I always go on set willing to learn new things because the moment you believe you are too much or you know everything, that is the beginning of your downfall.” She said.

Dominic, who has been in Nollywood for over two decades; also revealed that: “You have to constantly see the need to grow in your art and in yourself. When I go on a set, I’m not going as someone who has been acting for twenty-something years. I go and learn from everyone. It really helps to keep an open mind. And I love to learn new things.”

Rita Dominic, who plays the mysterious nightclub singer Anjola in “La Femme Anjola”, also said she is very “particular” about the scripts she accepts. “I go for roles that stretch me. I think that is every actor’s prayer; to find a role that will challenge them and show their range.”

” La Femme Anjola” is hitting cinemas, on Friday 19th March. We can’t wait to see all of the thrills and action this much-anticipated film will bring to the big screen.
