CEO Richard Branson recently visited one of the lucky recipients of the Omaze Virgin Galactic free space flight raffle draw. One of the winners Keisha S hails from Antigua and Barbuda and she will be the first person from the Caribbean islands to visit space.
She has a daughter that studies astrophysics who she will be taking along the space ride as a guest. “This is truly a dream come true for me,” Keisha said in a press release, “I’ve always had a lifelong love of flying and a fascination with space.”
The charitable donation to the company’s raffle draw in conjunction with Omaze in conjunction with Virgin Galactic amounted to about $1.7 million. The monies will be given to the Space for Humanity and its Citizen Astronaut Program.

The company recently reopened its Commercial Space Flight Ticket, it Starts at $450k Per Seat. Billionaire Richard Branson is on the quest to expand its space tourism business with the new reopenings.
Its SpaceShipTwo spaceplane will continue its commercial space flight, with a starting price of $450,000. This is an increase from the $250,000 for a seat some time ago.
Virgin Galactic charitable partnership with Omaze gives back to the community by offering free flights to Space. Keisha S will be touring the company’s spaceport in the meantime while she waits for her flight to space.
