Reports Say Android 12 Will Be Released Publicly On October 4th

Android 12 might be coming out on the 4th of October this year. This is according to a report by XDA Developers, through an internal document. The Site says that Google’s newest system for its mobile OS will be based on a new Material You visual design.

Generally, this said document issued by Google informing its Original Equipment Manufacturers OEM partners of the date the company will stop approving software builds.

Google has a tradition of releasing its version of Android on the same date that it stops approval of software builds. This is evident from its Android 10 and 11 software releases. The AOSP release of Android 11 happened on September 8th, 2020 as well as the official release.

Also, Android 10 came out of beta on September 3rd, 2019 as well as the official release. Google’s Pixel 6 official release is around the corner. The tech company might just release the flagship before its Android 12 official debut.
