Afrobeats superstar, Rema, has employed the services of American singer Selena Gomez on the remix of his smash hit single, “Calm Down”
Rema’s song “Calm Down” shot to a hundred million views on YouTube
in less than three months after it was released, making it an immediate hit.
The track, which was made available as one of the songs before his debut “Raves & Roses” album,
has turned out to be the most popular hit from the record.
Rema has now enlisted the help of American pop star Selena Gomez for the remix of his successful song
in an effort to achieve international recognition.

Meanwhile recall that Pictures of the two on social media sparked rumors of a potential collaboration,
which Selena Gomez later verified by posting a teaser of a remix of “Calm Down” on her Twitter account.
She wrote and we quote;
An all new version of @heisrema “Calm Down” is coming 8/26-so excited for this one!
Furthermore in Video, we could hear a very excited Selena Gomez speak about the project and how excited she was to be on it.
We could also see the much broadcasted clip of Selena and Rema Hugging, which got tongues wagging last week.
Meanwhile the remix is set for release on Friday, 26th August 2022. Fans can expect Selena to bring some American/Latin Pop into the mix
which is intended to give the single an American push and possibly earn Rema an entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
