Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello has a word for people who go about looking for accolades.
In a post she shared on Instagram, the “Aiyetoro Town” actress advised people to stop looking for friendship and accolades. Instead, they should work on themselves until they become a brand.

Funke Akindele Bello’s Nollywood career kicked off with her role as Bisi in the popular TV series, “I Need To Know”, from 1998 to 2002.
She went on to become a household name after her film “Jenifa”, which later became a series titled ”Jenifa’s Diary“. In the series, the award-winning actress plays the lead character in the series. For this role, she was named Best Actress in a Comedy at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Funke Akindele Bello, asides her acting career, has made the news on several occasions.
On 26th May 2012, Funke married Adeola Kehinde Oloyede. However, due to irreconcilable differences, the couple divorced in July 2013.
She then moved on to marry Nigerian rapper Abdul Rasheed Bello, known as JJC Skillz, in May 2016. Funke later became a mother to twin boys in December 2018.
