PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, one of the most popular games in the world, has a now entered its fourth season of the battle royale genre. The developers are launching a cinematic trailer of the game where the last man standing was killed by a rich man traumatised by war. Read on to learn more about PUBG Season Four.
The PUBG Season Four trailer is about a young child who was the last survivor of the 1965 bombing in PUBG’s Erangel. He escapes a bomb raid and hides from soldiers. The child is then shown in the present day where he’s grown into a man. He watches the chaos of his PUBG city to unfold through the screens. The trailer ended with his saying, “Welcome to my battlegrounds.”
The latest season four also sees major updates to the game’s visuals. It adds new weapons, movements, vehicles and story. It will launch later in the year on 24th July 2019.
Last month, Plat4om reported that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) was the world’s highest-grossing mobile game with over $146 million in revenue in May 2019.
This new storyline may likely surge the game up even higher on the rating ladder. However, most of the revenue came from items and skins bought by PUGB Mobile fans.
