Popular Nigerian on-air personality Omotunde Adebowale-David, popularly known as Lolo, has announced the demise of her mum.
The radio presenter broke the news while mourning her mum in a post via her Instagram page on Wednesday 19th May.
“Lord who am I to question your will but I know I can’t breathe right now. If love could keep you here with me, I loved you so much, maami,” she wrote in the caption of the photo of a candle burning in the dark.

Lolo started her career as a lawyer after being called to bar in 2000. She worked in the law department before quitting for media broadcasting in 2004.
The OAP has featured in a number of Nigerian films and series. Her role as Adaku in the popular series “Jenifa’s Diary” made her very popular in Nigeria’s film industry.
Lolo became an OAP when she joined Metro FM. She later joined Wazobia FM then left in 2019 after over 11 years with the media company. The OAP featured on the cover page of “La Mode Magazine” for the July 2017 edition.
In 2020, she produced her first film titled “When Love is not Enough”. The film was directed by Okiki Afolayan featuring Deyemi Okanlawon and Adejumoke Aderounmu and a host of other actors.
