Popular Korean actress Kim Mi-soo is dead. She passed on Wednesday 5th January at age 29.
Late Mi-soo’s agency, Landscape Entertainment, confirmed the news of her death, saying that she passed away “suddenly.” A cause of death was not provided.
“Kim suddenly left us on January 5,” her agency said in a statement, according to Variety. “The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. Please refrain from reporting false rumours or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.”
Just before her untimely death, Mi-soo had a supporting role on the South Korean television series “Snowdrop”. In the romantic drama, Mi-soo portrayed student activist Yeo Jung-min.

The series, produced by JTBC Studios and Drama House, airs on the South Korean network JTBC. It was also announced as a Disney+ original program in October
Prior to her appearance in “Snowdrop,” Kim appeared in a variety of other films and shorts. These included her debut in the 2018 short “Lipstick Revolution,” the 2019 films “Memories” and “Kyungmi’s World,” the 2019 JTBC drama series “Human Luwak” and, in 2020, the shows “Hi Bye, Mama!” and “Into the Ring,” according to JoongAng Daily.
The month before “Snowdrop” premiered, she also appeared in the hit Netflix drama “Hellbound,” which knocked “Squid Game” from the streaming giant’s most-watched series slot.
