Popular business leader and public speaker Ubong King is reportedly dead. He passed on at age 48.
The security expert and leadership coach breathed his last during the early hours of December 26th. He’s said to have kicked the bucket after testing positive for Coronavirus.
Ubong King was the founder of Protection Plus Security Limited as well as the former chairman of The American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Chapter 206, Lagos.
He started off his career volunteering as a protocol officer in his then church. King then ventured into piggery before pitching his tent in Security expertise.

Popular known as Mr Trouble Maker, the late Ubong King curated “ThinknationXX” annually. The event plays host to people, especially young entrepreneurs across Nigeria and Africa delivering think pieces and ideas for business growth.
He also facilitated several leadership classes both within and outside Nigeria. The founder of Ubong King Foundation, he was famous for his favourite quote; “The only way to get out of trouble is to enter trouble.”
He’s survived by his wife Unyime Ivy-King and four children; Adora-Edima, Jamon-Mfonabasi, Atara-Uyaiabasi, and Sarah-Mbuotidem.
Tributes have since come pouring in since news of King’s death as many are shocked at his untimely demise.
