The President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan pens this informative invite. See some of the important information he reveals concerning the long-awaited PS5 in this article.
First things first, the date for this PlayStation 5 event is Thursday, 4th June 2020. It will start at exactly 1:00 pm Pacific Time (9:00 pm in Lagos, Nigeria). Ryan says that PS5 will further push the limits of gaming; something Sony has been doing from the first PlayStation to PlayStation 4.
The event will include the first official look at the games that PlayStation 5 will launch with. Ryan writes that the scope of the games is wide:
“The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe. Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware.”

Jim Ryan, sadly, did not provide a specific launch date for PlayStation 5.
