As part of its humanitarian effort, PayPal has just made a bunch of features free for anyone who using an account set up in Ukraine.
PayPal was one of the first tech companies to place clear sanctions on Russians following the country invading neighbours, Ukraine. Now, it is also making a couple of its features free of charge for Ukrainians. Here they are:
1. Before now, using the peer-to-peer PayPal feature cost about 2.9% of the transaction if it comes from a credit card, debit card, or PayPal Credit. This charge has now been lifted for Ukraine PayPal users.
2. The same thing applies for Xoom payments to or from PayPal, the company applies no charges.
3. There will be no charge for Ukrainians moving their money out of their accounts onto Mastercard and Visa cards.
4. Additionally, they can send and receive funds in British Pounds, Canadian Dollars and Euros.

The charge-free features also cover PayPal users who may have fled Ukraine but still use the account that they opened while living in the country. However, this is not the norm for PayPal users. The company says that it is placing a June 30th deadline on the offers but may consider extending it as the Russo-Ukraine situation develops.
Other tech companies are also contributing in different ways to ensure that they ease the burden of Ukrainians.
