OPPO is relentlessly pushing out smartphones and the company has just announced that it will release the F17 Pro later this year.
Known for its top-tier specs and unique designs, the smartphone company has touted its coming device as a sort of fashion accessory. It called it the sleekest phone of 2020 in a Tweet announcing it.

According to the video in the Tweet above, the device would weigh 164g. This is 8g lighter than the recent OPPO 15 that weighs 172g. Also, it will be very thin (7.48mm), thinner than its predecessor which was 7.9mm thick.
At this time, OPPO has not released specifications for the F17 Pro. But we expect that it will launch with a quad-camera setup like the above-mentioned OPPO 15. Likely, it would be bringing either the latest MediaTek Helio P90 or the Dimensity 1000+ or even Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+.
Since it will be an improvement of its F15 product, OPPO F17 Pro may feature a lead camera that is more powerful than the 48MP lens. Its storage will possibly be an 8GB/128GB combination or even higher.
In addition, since the company announced its 125W fast-charging tech in July 2020, it has not announced the smartphone that will feature it. Will it launch this tech with its F17 Pro? We will have to wait until leaks of the phone’s specifications start to appear online.
There are already speculations that OPPO will price the F17 Pro between $300 to $350. These are still rumours as the company is largely quiet about details at this time.
