Oppo Pad Air review, see specs and price of first Oppo tablet

The Oppo Pad Air is a mid-range tablet with competitive specs, and it sells for between $213 to $253 in India. It has two variants; one offers 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space, while the other gives 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space. There is a memory card slot to increase the storage capacity.

Oppo Pad Air has a unibody design enclosed in a metal case and weighs about 440g, which is heavier than two iPhone 13s. However, tablets weigh more than smartphones; for context, the Samsung Tab S7 weighs 498g.

The display is an IPS LCD screen that measures about 10.36 inches and has a 1200 x 1200 resolution. Sadly, it has no stylus support, which many tablet owners have come to fall in love with.

Regardless, an Android 12 runs it, and a Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G powers the device.

In the photography department, it uses one primary camera, which is an 8MP lens with 1080 at 30fps video capacity. Its selfie snapper is a 5Mp shooter with the same video capacity mentioned above.

The Oppo Pad Air does not come with an earphone jack, so you must rely on wireless audio accessories. Although, it has four in-built stereo speakers.

It has a mega battery of 7100mAh, but the charging capacity is 18W, meaning that you will have to wait for a long time to juice up the device (approximately two hours and 34 minutes). However, on a single full charge, you are looking at days of battery life (it has an 18hour HD video life).

Online reviews prove that the Oppo Pad Air struggles with high-end games. Overall, it is a worthy intro for Oppo in the tablet industry. However, its price might not be too favourable as some other midrange tablets with similar specs have been found to be a little cheaper.
