OPPO Announces Release Of 4G Version Of Reno3, See Key Specifications

OPPO launched a new Reno3 version that uses only 4G as opposed to the 5G version it had released late in 2019. According to an Android Headlines article, the Reno3 4G version looks a lot like the 5G version.

While there is a physical resemblance between both phones, many things set them apart. One of the ones is the fact that one can access the coming 5G connectivity while the other cannot.

However, this is not all as the proceeding parts of this article reveals. While OPPO designed the Reno3 5G and 4G  with a mixture of Aluminium and glass, we were unable to determine if the 4G version is made with the Gorilla Glass 5 like its predecessor.

Also, both phones have four rear cameras, but Reno3 4G only has one LED flash when the 5G version uses dual-LED flash. The display screens also differ by an inch, not much difference but notable.

Its selfie camera is bigger; Reno3 4G uses a 44-megapixels front camera while its 5G counterpart came with a 32-megapixels camera.

Both smartphones use an AMOLED display of 1080 x 2400 pixels. They have the same battery capacity of about 4,025 mAh. Yet, Reno3 4G comes with a RAM size of 8G and the 5G version has a RAM of 12G.

It is encouraging to note that the 4G model of the OPPO smartphone comes with the latest Android 10 preinstalled and supports fast charging. Also, it uses the latest Bluetooth 5 version.

This waterdrop display notch device is currently only available in Sri Lanka but will be entering other markets soon. For now, it is worth $405.

Despite the coronavirus outbreak, OPPO is challenging giants in the smartphone market for a larger market share in 2020.
