OnePlus has updated its Buds Z earbuds with noise cancellation for just $99, with a newer Z2 name. This new earbud cost twice what the regular Buds Z retail for at $49.99 with some minor addition other than noise cancellation.
For instance, the OnePlus Buds Z2 has a lighter weight and shorter stem giving it a more modern look. The company says that these new buds have a higher battery with 12 hours of listening time when active noise cancellation is off.
However, when noise cancellation is on this falls to five hours of listening time. highly-priced than its base Sennheiser’s earbuds the CX true wireless buds.

When the carrying case is included with this bud, with ANC turned off it allows 38 hours of listening time and 27 hours when ANC is turned on. The Z2 buds are available in black and white colours, really affordable for their tech.
They look similar to the more expensive Buds Pro, although they lack the wireless charging feature. The similarities this $99 bud shares with the Pro are in the same level of latency, drivers and mics.
For instance, they use the same 94ms of latency, with three mics in each earbud and also the same 11nm drivers. OnePlus is joining the already competitive $99 category of noise cancellation earbuds, albeit borrowing a lot of tech from its price siblings.
