OnePlus CEO Pete Lau posts images of a foldable smartphone that the Android company is working. It appears that foldable devices are the next trend and everyone is trying to get in on them.
Two years ago after Samsung was the only notable name in the game, Lau had denied reports that OnePlus was working on a foldable device. He had also said that the company had no plan to make one.
However, things have clearly changed. He tweeted:
What do you think this is? 😉 pic.twitter.com/vrT2pzQ7jX

The post is definitely teasing hinges of a foldable phone. And, as if that was not clear enough, he also posted a photo that asks: “What do you want from next generation of foldables?”
He also confirms that the hinges he posted was of a foldable device. While not confirming anything else, OnePlus CEO has been retweeting posts about the Oppo Find N foldable device. There are few videos on Twitter of what the Find N looks like while being handles and you can see one of them below:

The only relevance we can think of is that OnePlus may use the same design for its foldable and just upgrade its specs. Both OnePlus and Oppo are owned by BBK Electronics, a Chinese multinational conglomerate.
