The event themed: Women In Tech Week will host women who are passionate about tech. They will be gathered in Ogun State On Monday, 9th December 2019 at Ogun Tech Hub: Kobape Road, Abeokuta. Ogun Innovate initiative runs the event.
And the state government sponsors this initiative. Its main aim is to empower people. In order to achieve success, opportunities need to be created.
Hence, the government is creating an atmosphere to breed entrepreneurs and also empower unemployed people.
Ogun Women In Tech Week will cater to both the educational and professional development of women. Also, it will “facilitate access to basic knowledge of programmes, mentoring, networking, and career opportunities in information technology.”
All the speakers at the three-day event will be women. Dignitaries like the Wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun will grace the occasion. Also, Ogun state deputy governor, Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele will be there.
Women leading in technology will be there as well. Like Mrs Olatundun Adekunte the Director, Bureau of IT, Ogun State. Also, Mrs Toyin F. Sanni (GCEO, Emerging Africa Capital Group) will be in attendance.
As well as Mrs Morenike Da Silva (MD, Cordros Asset Management). Hon. Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji (Founder, Ayoola Elegbeji Foundation) will also feature on the programme.
