Nokia Releases Its Newest T20 $250 Android Tab Into The Tablet Market

Nokia has entered the tablet space with the release of its $250 Android T20 tab. This is the second time the company is releasing its own tablet to the market. New license owner HMD Global now produces its hardware while slapping the “Nokia” brand on them.

Nokia’s first-ever Android tablet was released in 2015, known as the N1. Production of this tablet was made in partnership with a manufacturer Foxconn. This was just after Microsoft bought the Nokia brand.

The T20 tablet has a huge 10.4 inch LCD screen with a 2000 by 1200 display ratio. This is perfect for productivity work and binging on streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. Powering this tablet is a Unisoc Tiger T610 octa-core processor, with configurations for LTE support.

Shipping with the T20 tablet is Google’s Kid Space installed, Parents have access/control over content and apps with additional screen time restrictions.

Licensers HMD Global says that its new T2O tablet is all the good stuff the Nokia brand represents on a big screen. So features like durability, lasting battery life and support for software are in abundance.

The T20 tablet promises two years of OS updates and three years of security updates while sporting an 8,200mAh battery. This battery pack is capable of 15 hours of use and about 10 hours of video playback.

Charging on this tablet is possible with a USB Type-C port, and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired listening. Right at the back is an 8-megapixel camera, and a 5MP camera at the front.

There’s a mild 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage space with an external MicroSD card slot that allows up to 512GB. Looking at just the specifications, this tablet is good value for $250.

Nokia T20 will be publicly available on November 17, 2021 in the US, while it can be Preordered right now in the UK for 180 British pounds for its base model.
