Nokia G21 specs, details and price revealed ahead of India launch

Ahead of its April 26 launch, details of Nokia’s latest smartphone, G21, has leaked online and it is quite something to get your hands on.

It is rumoured to be coming out alongside the Nokia G11.

According to leaker Mukul Sharma, the Nokia G21’s display will measure 6.5 inches and feature an HD+ IPS LCD panel with 1600×720 resolution. Its refresh rate will be 90Hz and it will be running on a Unisoc T606 chipset.

For storage, it will have two versions; one with a 64GB storage space and another with 128GB. The same thing applies for the RAM, there will be one with 4GB and the other with 6GB. And for power, it will be powered by a 5,050mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The device will have a 50MP primary camera, two 2MP lenses for enhancement, and LED flash. In front, the selfie camera will be an 8MP lens. Nokia says the smartphone comes with AI-Imaging, whatever that means.

For software, the Nokia G21 is supposed to come with Android 11 OS and likely support updates for two to three more years. There is no mention of it supporting 5G connectivity, which may be a let down for many customers these days.

However, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, uses the common USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It is supposed to be priced at Rs 13,000 in India and EUR 170 (when it launches later in Europe). We will learn more about these details when Nokia officially announces it.
