One of the popular Nigerian music duo, Psquare, Peter Okoye, has expressly written an open letter to the APC Governors over their agitation on the Naira swap
Recall that since the announcement by CBN that no one should accept old 500 and 1,000 naira note,
while outting a 60-day deadline on the old 200naira notes,
Many APC governors have taken to different news outlet to condemn the move by President Buhari and the CBN
In fact many governors have ordered their states to continue with the old naira,
threatening to shut down any bank that rejects it
Meanwhile, Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, has addressed the attitude of the said APC governors,
who claim they are acting for the well being of Nigerians
In a series of posts shared on Instastories, Peter stated that the governors should stop complaining because Nigerians are not complaining about the policy.
He claimed that Nigerians are used to the hardship inflicted on them by the APC government
and are in support of the Naira swap policy despite the attendant hardship that has accompanied it.

Dear APC Governors, We the Nigerian People are not complaining about the policy.
As a matter of fact, we are so used to the hardships the APC brought upon us.
We actually stand with Buhari and Emefiele on this one. We still have 50, 100 and 200 naira in circulation. Desperados.
Also further reminding them that this hardship has been on since the APC government came into power,
Peter Okoye is however wondering why the governors are just feeling it now when the CBN issued the naira swap

And it is a wide spread knowledge that this policy issued by the CBN will reduce vote buying and increase the chances of a fairer election
Perhaps Peter Okoye is indeed speaking for Most Nigerians, especially Obidients, but we doubt that He is speaking for all Nigerians
