New Update: Telegram’s Group Video Calls Now Has A 1,000 Max Viewers

In a new update, Telegram has increased its group video call viewers to 1,000. The company announced via its blog, also it has upgraded its video messaging to 2.0 and different Video Playback speeds.

 

Its Group video calls now allow up to 30 users to broadcast video from their camera and screen.  Telegram made a bold promise, “We will keep increasing this limit until all humans on Earth can join one group call and watch us yodel in celebration (coming soon).”

 

The company launched group video calls last month, its video messages 2.0 allows users to have a higher resolution and expands. In the telegram app, the media player now supports 0.5x, 1.5x, and 2x playbacks.

 

And then, 1-on-1 calls now have screen sharing with sound and other new features.

 

Telegram, the messaging platform finally added new animations and video call updates after so long. Even the application’s interface is receiving a major overhaul.

In the new update, Telegram has added a camera icon in the mobile app, tapping the camera icon will immediately place users in a call. There is currently no limit for voice calls, but video calls have a limit of 30 participants.

 

Also, in the new update, Telegram has borrowed a feature from zoom. Users can now share their camera feeds, even in a video call with others too. But there is a little difference between its mobile and desktop applications.

For Mobile, the telegram has allowed by default the entirety of the user’s screen to be shared. While on the desktop, users have the ability to share the entire screen or a particular view.

Users can also turn off the noise suppression mode if they want all the sound the microphone is receiving. Another important update feature is the Animated backgrounds.

This is the first time, the company is adding the feature. There are a lot of spinning color patterns when users send messages. Also, in settings, users can personalize their own colors and patterns and they can be shared with others.
