New Redmi K30 Ultra Combines MediaTek, Samsung And Sony Technologies

The new Redmi K30 Ultra is bringing powerful tech and specifications from MediaTek, Samsung, and Sony. On 11th August 2020, Xiaomi announced its most recent devices which include; Ninebot GoKart Pro, Mi TV LUX, Mi 10 Ultra, and Redmi K30 Ultra.

 

While the other devices are equally interesting we focus more on the Redmi K30 Ultra specifications in this article.

 

Xiaomi has become the first smartphone company to launch a device with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1000+. This chipset will power the Redmi K30 Ultra, giving it improved speed and performance.

 

Additionally, it supports dual 5G SIM and is more battery efficient than many other smartphone chipsets in the market. Also, smartphone companies using MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ can fit their devices with up to 144Hz refresh rate.

Back to the specifications of the Redmi K30 Ultra, it is launching with a 4,500mAh battery capacity. It supports 33W fast-charging which will juice the battery up in no time.

 

Besides MediaTek’s tech, Xiaomi is using Samsung’s AMOLED True Full-Screen Display for the device’s screen. It will measure 6.67 inches and have a high refresh rate of 120Hz – which is within the processor’s capacity. The screen also comes with a powerful light sensor that will make using it outdoor a great experience.

In the camera department, Xiaomi channels Sony’s camera technology. The Redmi K30 Ultra features a quad camera setup that uses a 64MP Sony camera. This gives telephoto capturing abilities and also offers macro lenses. It also brings a pop-up selfie camera to give users more screen optimisation.

 

Redmi K30 Ultra comes in three variations which have to do with the storage capacity setup. There is the 6GB/128GB edition, the 8GB/128GB edition, and the 8GB/256GB edition. However, what is most interesting is the pricing scheme of the Redmi K30 Ultra.

 

It is listed as costing thus: Redmi K30 Ultra 6GB/128GB ($289), Redmi K30 Ultra 8GB/128GB ($319), and Redmi K30 Ultra 8GB/256GB ($359). For now, the device is available in China, the company has not revealed when it will come to other markets.
