American streaming platform Netflix has launched a “Black Lives Matter” collection. In a statement shared via Twitter, the streaming giants said the “Black Lives Matter” collection is their way of showing support for the ongoing anti-racism protests.
Meanwhile, from 10th June 2020, a display pop-up screen for users will be hosted on the streaming portal. This also invites users to explore the service’s selection of films and TV shows that centre on race and the experiences of Black Americans.
“With an understanding that our commitment to true, systemic change will take time. We’re starting by highlighting powerful and complex narratives about the Black experience,” the tweet read.

When we say “Black Lives Matter,” we also mean “Black storytelling matters.”
