Navigate Black Friday Periods Expertly With This New Google Shopping Tool

Google is rolling out a new shopping tool that will enable users get the best out of purchasing goods especially during the tricky Black Friday periods.

 

According to a blog post, the search engine company is rolling out this feature in the US. It says that feature is coming earlier in the year than usual. “But this year, holiday shopping is starting earlier than usual. With safety top of mind, retailers have moved away from typical doorbuster events and are beginning to promote their discounts online,” Google says.

 

The Google Shopping tool will help users decide whether they have found a good price or not. To do this, you should just search the item on Google and then go to the Shopping tab. It then brings up a comparison of the offered price to other prices on the internet. Thus, you will be able to see if it is low, typical or high.

On the same page, you can also compare prices and shipping options from different stores and locations. Other features are also coming to the tool soon, like curbside and in-store pickup annotations. Additionally, even if you have not started your own shopping, this tool can also be useful.

You can receive alerts when price of goods drops by turning on price tracking on the Shopping product page. All you need to do is ensure that you are signed into your Google account. If you want to see products that you are tracking or unsubscribe from getting alert open My Activity under your Google account.

 

Google did not say anything about when this Google Shopping tool will be available in other countries.
