NAPTIP over the weekend published the names and photographs of some persons convicted of s*xual offences in Nigeria.

Just last week, there was a series of protest in Abuja and Lagos with women calling for strict penalties against r*pists.
Nollywood actresses Hilda Dokubo and Tonto Dikeh partook in the protest submitting a petition at the Police Headquarters Abuja.
This initiative by NAPTIP is a step in the right direction at a time when women all over Nigeria are calling on the government to enforce stricter penalties for r*pe.
Thumbs up to the Director-General of NAPTIP and also, to those lending their voice to speak against r*pe.
