Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe revealed her new lover Kazim Adeoti over the weekend and several persons have since reacted to the news, amongst them her estranged husband Lanre Gentry.
Mercy Aigbe had revealed the identity of her new lover on the occasion of his birthday, Jan 23 2022.
The actress shared a photo of herself and Adeoti wishing him a happy birthday with the caption;
“It’s my Boo’s birthday in a bit 🎊🎉💃 Cc @kazimadeoti thank you for being amazing 🙏❤️,” she wrote.

Reacting to the big reveal, Gentry took to his Instagram page to share a throwback photo of himself, Aigbe and her new man Kazim Adeoti at an event. In his caption, he wrote that the “truth” is finally out.
“At last I thank God the truth is out this is just one out of many to God be the glory. I don’t need anyone’s comment please,” he captioned the photo.
Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband split in 2017 and have fought on social media off and on since then. The marriage ended amidst allegations of domestic violence and infidelity. They share a son, Juwon while Aigbe has a teenage daughter Michelle from a previous relationship.
In June 2021, Aigbe pleaded with Nigerians to help her beg Lanre Gentry to sign their divorce papers. It remains unclear if they’re officially divorced. However, Gentry has gone on to tie the knot with his new wife, who’s currently pregnant with their child.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Aigbe’s new man is also married with three children.
Adeoti is a businessman and investor/partner at Ibaka TV. Ibaka Tv is an on-demand video platform for Nollywood movies.
Recall that the actress displayed an engagement ring in April 2021 announcing she was now a fiancee.
