American rapper Meghan Thee Stallion has secured an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix.
Thee Stallion whose real name is Megan Pete inked the deal that will see her produce exclusive content and shows for the streaming giants.
Speaking on the news, Megan said in an interview: “I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix.”
“Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur. And I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch,” the rapper who just graduated from University also added.
“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey,” said Tracy Pakosta, Netflix head of Comedy.

Thee Stallion, 26, graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in health administration earlier this month.
“Good morning hotties !!! It’s graduation dayyyy,” the three-time Grammy award winner wrote on Twitter.
The rapper received her diploma on Saturday 11th December, shaking hands with the college’s 13th president, Dr Lesia Crumpton-Young.
Meanwhile, in a 2020 interview with PEOPLE, Megan talked about her drive to get her degree despite her rapid success in the music industry. The rapper said she’s was doing it for her late mother Holly Thomas, who died in March 2019 after suffering from brain cancer.
“I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,” Megan said. “I want my big mama to be proud. She saw me going to school before she passed.”
