Meghan Markle is currently working on family-focused animated series for Netflix.The animated series “Pearl” is being developed by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archwell productions. It follows the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration from influential women in history.
“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges.” Markle said in a statement confirming the new production.
“I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history. David Furnish and I have been eager to bring this special series to light.”

Meanwhile, Markle is collaborating with Elton John’s filmmaker husband David Furnish to bring “Pearl” to life.
“I am delighted that we are finally able to announce this exciting animated series.” Furnish said in a statement.
“Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex and I are deeply passionate about bringing the inspirational and positive stories of extraordinary women from around the world to a global audience of all ages. The team collaborating on the series are first class, and Netflix are the perfect partner.”
“Pearl” is the second series in a lineup of other productions the royal couple will produce for Netflix in their whooping $100 million deal with the streaming giants.
Additionally, In April, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry annouced that their show “Heart Of Invictus” is coming to Netflix. In 2014, Prince Harry founded a Paralympics-style competition for wounded service personnel and veterans. Archwell Productions is also currently working on a docuseries of the competition for Netflix.
“Heart of Invictus” will follow the athletes as they prepare for the Invictus competition.
