Actresses Mary Njoku and Nkechi Blessing have slammed people who body-shamed BBNaija season 6 housemate Angel after the opening ceremony.
The actresses via their Instagram pages criticised people especially women who body-shamed the 21-year-old, saying they should know better.
“I understand if a man shames a woman for having fallen b****t, But Aunty Even you? Common we can really do better than making a woman feel less of herself, unlike some oda people that can’t stand trolling and insults, they tend to fall into depression and harm themselves,” Nkechi Blessing wrote.

“But you see me? If dem born your father well come and abuse me on my page, I will send you back home..we need to be the change we seek, by spreading more love than hate…Love and light❤️❤️.”

Mary Njoku on her part said body-shaming would be curbed if men’s genitalia were also visible to all for scrutiny.

Angel was the first female housemate that came on the show. She’d worn a dress with a deepened neckline that showed off her cleavage. Derogatory comments on her body began to fly afterward.
