Black-ish star Marsai Martin has received a coveted honour for her 2019 hit film “Little”. In 2019, Martin was the executive producer for her breakout film “Little” and broke the world record as the youngest Hollywood executive producer to work on a major production.
The big news is that the 16-year-old was recently officially declared the record-holder by the Guinness World Records on Monday 30th November.
“It feels crazy, honestly. A world record? That’s insane.” Martin said in a video of her certificate presentation.

Meanwhile, along with the executive producing the film, “Little”, Martin developed the concept for the comedy and played the lead role alongside actors Regina Hall and Issa Rae. “Little” follows a tech entrepreneur, played by Hall, who one day wakes up in the body of her former 13-year-old self, played by Martin.
“I hope that all the young Black girls out there really see how a change can really happen, just by being yourself, just by any imagination you have that can run wild. You only live once so go for it.” Martin said.
The actress will appear in the Guinness World Records 2021 edition. Big congratulations to her on achieving this great feat.
