Mark Zuckerberg announced that he and is wife, Priscilla Chan, are welcoming a daughter in 2023; this will be their third child.
The couple previously welcomed their first child, a daughter named Max, in December 2015. Then, they had a second child, another daughter named August, in 2017.
In a Facebook post, he shared the good news with a photo of he and his partner, saying; “Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!”
Chan had lost three pregnancies through miscarriages in the first three years of their marriage before they had their first daughter.

Although very private about their personal life, the couple share moments with their Facebook friends and followers from time to time. For example, they renewed their vows on May 19, 2022, with a recreation of their original wedding photo.
The news comes a day after several sources claimed that the Meta CEO had lost about $71 billion of his wealth in 2022. Mark Zuckerberg was placed 22nd on the Forbes billionaires list, dropping 19 places from his previous 3rd position.
The drop in his fortune is blamed on the fall of Meta stock, which accounts for most of his wealth.
Zuckerberg has not said anything about his failing fortunes, although, he has been open about his company’s struggles and the several adjustments in place to take it to the next level.
Regardless, congratulations to the man who gave us Facebook and his wife on baby number 3.
