Gaming accessory company Logitech is changing the way you play with a set of new gaming mouse. Its G502 X, G502 X LIGHTSPEED and G502 X PLUS are said to be miles apart from anything else that is out there.
It is not just hype as well as the company has a reputation for delivering on its promise. The G502 X is equipped with new LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches and built on the original G502 framework. It is termed ‘next-gen’ and built with lighter materials to make it easier to handle.
The other mice, G502 X LIGHTSPEED and G502 X PLUS, also come with the LIGHTFORCE tech, which is a new microswitch tech that merges all the benefits of optical switches with the important actuation (clicky) feel of a mechanical switch, a Forbes article says.

Generally, optical switches are faster and provide better performance than mechanical switches. However, gamers prefer the way the latter feels, so, Logitech found a way to offer them the feeling while improving performance by using galvanic contact parts within the switch that operate the same way as mechanical switches. The mice are more reliable and provide ultra-low latency actuation.
In addition, they come with a reversible and removable DPI-shift button, which allows you to change the mouse’s sensitivity to a faster or slower pointer speed. It has been redesigned for use by different hand sizes and grip styles.
For better accuracy, the G502 X comes with a HERO 25K high-precision gaming sensor. You can even connect two LIGHTSPEED devices, like the G502 X and G715 keyboad for example, to one receiver using the Device Pairing Tool in the G HUB software.
To charge the mice, there is a USB-C port to charge the wireless models. Then, there is a wireless charging mat that lets you continue gaming for hours without having to use the wired charging option.
They are priced as follows:
Logitech G502 X – $79 / £79.99 (NGN35,000)
Logitech G502 X LIGHTSPEED – $139 / £129.99 (NGN60,000)
Logitech G502 X PLUS – $159 / £149.99 (NGN70,000)
