Logitech Brio 500 is the company’s new privacy-focused webcam with an inbuilt physical shutter. It is cylindrical and will go on sale later in September 2022.
For those who want 4K quality webcam, the Logitech Brio 500 is not for you as its capability stops at 1080p. However, this quality is more than fitting for video calls.
It comes with a pair of microphones with background noise filtering tech inbuilt. However, its most prominent feature is the physical privacy shutter that can be activated with just the dial control on its right side.

The shutter makes it easy for you to change what the person on the other end can see, from your face to your desk in a matter of seconds without scrambling through layers of control.
Its camera automatically centers the person (or object) and can adjust lighting to fit the environment. The webcam is mounted to its plastic clamp by a magnet, while the clamp fastens it to your display. Also, you can unscrew the magnetic mount to use its tripod mount, if you prefer. And, it is capable of rotating 360 degrees.
Alongside this webcam, Logitech is also launching a new headset called the Zone Vibe 100. It is a Bluetooth-only headset with a battery life of between 18 to 20 hours. It comes with a mic arm fitted with a flip-to-mute control.
Both the Logitech Brio 500 webcam and the Logitech Zone Vibe 100 headsets are to be released in gray, off-white, and light pink shades. The webcam will sell for $129 while the headset will set you back $100.
