Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road Now The Most Certified Song In History
Lil Nas X is celebrating yet again another milestone achievement.
His song “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus has become the most certified song in history.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that the song has reached 14-times platinum status in the U.S and accumulated 14 million in equivalent song units.
The new record displaces “All of Me” by John Legend and “Despacito” by Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, and Justin Bieber, which are both certified 13x Platinum.
Lil Nas took to his social pages to share the big news writing;
“OLD TOWN ROAD IS OFFICIALLY 14 TIMES PLATINUM! MOST PLATINUMS FOR ANY SONG EVER! LETS GOOO!” he wrote.

SZA who was one of the persons with the top comment on his Instagram post, wrote;
“BRUH !!! Lmao what’s higher than diamond !????? I can’t even think of a gem JUST GIVE HIM THE RADIO.”

In an interview with Complex, Lil Nas X shared his plans for his career.
“My album as a whole. The singles and the music videos that are going to be around them,” he said. “The moments I’m going to create with each one of them. Some features that I’m working on with other artists. I’m just excited about the entire process and even releasing music again.”
