Samsung were the first makers of a foldable smartphone, a new feat when it launched its fold in 2019. The Galaxy Fold 1 came with a few issues after it’s launch and even after the device was put up for sale, many considered the design unpractical.
Some images claiming to be legitimate images of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 have been doing rounds on the internet. So far, it seems that Samsung has been eyeing the Motorola Razr’s design.
Samsung seems to have ditched the book style design with the Galaxy Fold 2 in favour of a clamshell design similar to the Motorola Razr. The images show a regular looking smartphone with thin bezels all around when it’s in the unfolded state.

There’s a hinge in the middle of the display that folds the phone into half. This makes the phone smaller when folded making it look quite similar to the Motorola Razr, however, unlike the Motorola Razr, there are no chunky bezels at the bottom.
The Galaxy Fold 2 Could Be Revealed In March 2020
The Galaxy Fold 2 also appears to be slim like the Motorola Razr. Like the Motorolla product, it seems to have a small secondary display on the outside of the clamshell. There’s an always-on display section that shows the time. The dual-camera system could help take selfies when folded. Its main display also features a punch-hole cutout in the top-center.
Comparing it to the Motorola Razr, the Galaxy Fold 2 seems to be more expensive. The Fold 2 might replace the original Galaxy Fold and feature the new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chip. The smartphone could be shown to enthusiasts as early as March 2020 at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
