The Lagos State Commissioner of Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi has confirmed the fourth case of COVID-19 death in the state.
Abayomi said the patient died of coronavirus complications in a private hospital.
Also, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced on Twitter that the State Isolation facilities discharged four more patients including an 11-year-old on Saturday, 11th April 2020.

Today, 4 more patients; all male, including an 11 year old boy have been discharged from the Lagos State Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

The patients; 3 from IDH, Yaba and 1 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) were discharged having recovered fully and tested negative twice to #COVID19
This brings to 50, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our isolation facilities.

Meanwhile, Out of the 19 states affected by Coronavirus, Lagos State has the highest number with 173 cases.
Governor Sanwo-Olu had earlier stated that the lockdown in the state may be extended.
Governor Sanwo-Olu had also encouraged Lagosians to stay at home during the Easter Celebration.
He explained that the true meaning of Easter is sacrifice. As such residents of the state should show that sacrifice by staying at home and practising social distancing.
