Konami Will Launch A New Gaming PC Lineup, Arespear, In September

Konami is now in the gaming PC business and will ship its PC lineup called Arespear in September 2020. The PCs are already available for preorder and they pack some powerful specs according to PC Watch.

 

The PCs are powered by an Intel 9th Gen processor and come in three models: Standard “C300”, High Class “C700” and High Class + “C700+.

 

The entry-level C300 comes with Intel i5-9400F CPU, an Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD storage and costs around $1,760.

 

It comes with two USB 3.1 (including 1 Type-C), 3 USB 3.0, 3 USB 2.0, and PS/2 ports. It also has gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4, DVI-D, audio input/output ports, and runs on Windows 10.

 

Then the mid-range C700, which comes with a water-cooled Intel i7-9700, an Nvidia RTX 2070 Super, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB hard drive costs around $3,017.

The C700 is equipped with 2 USB 3.1 (including 1 Type-C), 6 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 and PS/2 ports. It also comes with Gigabit Ethernet, voice input/output,3 DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, an onboard HDMI 1.4b, and DisplayPort 1.2 ports.

The premium spec is the C700+. It has the same specs as the C700 but with the difference of a transparent side panel and RGB lighting. The C700 Plus is available for about $3,227.

 

The three models measure 230 x 575.3 x 501.5 mm (width x depth x height). The C300 weights about 16kg, while the C700/C700+ weighs about 17kg.

 

Konami is famous for making games like Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), Silent Hill, and Castlevania. Now, it is turning its attention to the hardware that can power these games. PC gaming has become increasingly popular in Japan in recent years and this could be a factor in Konami’s new venture.

 

The Konami Arespear gaming PC models are only available in Japan at the moment, it will be interesting to see it when it is available in other countries.
