American singer Kelly Clarkson says she is now an expert at collecting red flags after a failed marriage.
Clarkson opened up about her love life while discussing her new album “When Christmas Comes Around” on Love Someone with Delilah podcast.
“I regret nothing. Even unfortunate things that happen in your life or hard things, ’cause we can do hard things,” the former American Idol winner revealed.
“But also I feel like that’s what shapes you, it’s what makes you a better person, it’s what makes you recognize: OK I missed those red flags, I missed that, I ignored that on purpose,” she added.

Clarkson disclosed her past experiences in relationships almost made her call her next album “Red Flag Collector.”
“I mean, I’m just collecting them,” she said. “I was apparently wanting to do some kind of exhibit with a lot of them.”
The singer said she still has hope for the future and isn’t shutting her heart from falling in love.
“Like in relationships, it’s hard to be as creative as I can because I wear my heart on my sleeve. I mean, you never know about love.”
Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce from her husband Brandon Blackstock in June 2020 after seven years of marriage.
In December 2020, she won primary physical custody of her children with her ex-husband.
According to court documents obtained by USA TODAY, Clarkson and Blackstock will share joint physical and legal custody of their children daughter River, 6, and son Remington, 4 with Clarkson having primary physical custody of them in Los Angeles.
