In an Instagram post, the actor while in a movie set with actress Regina Daniels says food was just a prop.

“When I saw this, I remembered when we started this career with the NTA. This is props. If you ever ate it at the time, you’ve eaten your artist fee. It was rented from the canteen,” the Nollywood star said, holding up a piece of meat.

Earlier in January, the actor addressed the impression some people have of him as a ritualist because of his several reprisals of similar roles

In an interview with Saturday Beats, he said things like that did not bother him.

Even people who cannot speak before one now think they have the opportunity to rubbish one. However, those things don’t affect me because if one has got to a particular stage in life, there are people one should not respond to,” he said.
