The Nigerian Police have made a breakthrough in the case of late Uwaila Omozuwa.
Uwaila Omozuwa got r*ped and killed by unknown men in a church where she went to read.
Her death has elicited outrage and sparked a renewed campaign against r*pe on social media, with the police and the Edo state government promising to find her killers and bring them to justice.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), revealed that the Police have arrested a suspect on the case.

Meanwhile, The Inspector-General of Police Mr. Mohammed Adamu has also ordered the transfer of investigation into the death of Uwa to the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), DCP Frank Mba disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
Furthermore, Mr. Anthony Michael, in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department, would henceforth provide direct supervision to ensure a speedy and thorough investigation of the case.
