Veteran Nigerian musician King Sunny Ade, has finally agreed to meet his alleged 52-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Ayeni.

Elizabeth Ayeni claimed in June that her mother told her that the music icon was her biological father.

The 52-year-old revealed that all of her efforts to contact him had been futile, which was why she approached the Human Rights Commission. The commission assisted her in writing to Sunny Ade twice, but he had not responded.

Ayeni clarified that she was not contacting him because of his fame or wealth, but to confirm if he was indeed her biological father.

According to a new update, the revered musician has agreed to meet with Elizabeth Ayeni, the 52-year-old woman who claims to be his daughter, one-on-one.

On Monday, September 19th, his lawyer, Donald Ajibola, spoke with an online newspaper. He told the publication that he would meet with Ayeni whenever he had free time.

Ajibola said, “I contacted Ayeni some days back and told her that I had spoken with Sunny Ade. What I told her was that I spoke with him and he agreed to meet her.

The only thing is that he is too busy and cannot meet her now. It was even difficult for me to meet him. When he has time he will meet with her”.

Ayeni confirmed the meeting and stated that she planned to conduct a DNA test to determine her paternity.
