Jude Okoye, owner of Northside Entertainment Record Label has responded to the allegations leveled against him by Cynthia Morgan and May D.
The music label boss trended on the internet after an Instagram live video of Cynthia now known as Madrina.
Cynthia alleged that Jude took her name and her social media accounts after her contract with his label expired.
Well, Jude was quick to grant a live Instagram interview to US-based Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut.
On the claim that he stole her name, this was Jude’s response.
“Which law in the world fit make person stop dey answer name wey him mama and papa give am? I’m going to send you Cynthia Morgan’s contract, it’s a five-page document and when you see it, you can tell me where it says my company owns a right to her name.
I didn’t even prepare the contract, it was Cynthia Morgan and her former manager, Joy Tongo who prepared the contract.”
Okoye explained that Cynthia Morgan owes him ₦40 million that he never recouped and he described how some of that money was spent.
He said he shot 13 videos for Morgan with each video worth ₦3M, bought her the white Range, and gave her money to buy land for her mother.
Okoye also said that Morgan performed at secret shows and kept the money for herself.
