Journalist Jackson Ude Accuses Duncan Mighty Of Collecting N3 Million For Concert Without Showing Up

Jackson Ude, journalist and former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has called out singer Duncan Mighty, accusing him of collecting N3 million from him for a concert without showing up.

Ude alleged that he paid the N3 million and added an additional sum for flight tickets but Duncan Mighty did not show up. Instead, he announced he was in an accident.

“I paid Duncan Mighty N3million for Nkporo Youths Unity Concert that held December 30 2021, and additional N630k for flight tickets. He didn’t show up for the concert. Next I heard was a picture of him wrapped in bandages claiming accident while holding his cell phone”

Ude further alleged that the singer has become “notorious for collecting money from show promoters and not showing up.”

He further advised the musician to avoid his troubles and refund the money he paid immediately.

“Duncan Mighty has become notorious for collecting money from show promoters and not showing up. He did that with a show in Uromi, Uyo and other places,” he added.

“I am not one who would want to deal with folks in the entertainment industry. Duncan should avoid my troubles and payback now!”

Recall that the Portharcourt born singer took to his Instagram post on Wednesday 5th January to announce he was in an accident that occurred on Sunday 2nd January.

According to the musician he was on his way from Uyo when his vehicle plunged into the river because a trailer, which was moving at high speed, had a brake failure.
