Chapter 3 of the John Wick films, “Parabellum”, is already gunning for an impressive opening. Box office experts think the film could reach the $40 million mark or higher. It is projected that “Parabellum” will have a higher opening than the franchise’s 2014 original which had $14.4 million and the 2017 Chapter Two with $30.4 million.

There are also projections that this third instalment will be the first film to beat out “Avengers: Endgame” for the top spot at the box office in America. The Marvel film added $61.3 million to top the latest Warner Bros.’ “Detective Pikachu”. “Endgame”, currently at its fourth weekend in the cinemas, is adding about $30 million to its $2.5 billion global sales.

The film, which features star actor Keanu Reeves, had a breathtakingly beautiful performance. Wick went to Casablanca and met up with an old friend, Sofia (played by Halle Berry). The two partnered together to overcome dangers. The film did not necessarily have a distinct villain. There were lots of adversaries set out to stop John Wick.

According to a review by Rohan Naahar of Hindustan Times,

“Mark Dacascos stars as the primary antagonist, Zero, whom he plays like a cross between a fanboy and a samurai. The tone of their final showdown wasn’t unlike Grigor Dimitrov challenging his idol Roger Federer at Wimbledon. And despite ‘John Wick 3’ being the only Hollywood film to satisfactorily utilise the talents of The Raid’s Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman, in the end, even the henchmen that they play are too awestruck by John Wick’s legend.”

Twitter is already going wild about the new “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum”. The comments are interesting and hilarious. The film is out in Nigeria today, and it seems like a great film to slide into your weekend plans.
