Jay-Z Delves Into Marijuana Business With New Company “Monogram”
Rapper Jay-Z is officially trading in Marijuana as he’s launched his cannabis company “Monogram.”
On October 23rd the billionaire rapper and business mogul unveiled his new venture in a press release.
According to the statement, Monogram seeks to ‘redefine what cannabis means to consumers today’ through ‘careful strain selection, meticulous cultivation practices, and uncompromising quality.’
It is however yet unknown when Monogram will begin operations or what outlets will distribute the new cannabis product.

The rapper said “Anything I do, I want to do correctly and at the highest level. “With all the potential in the cannabis industry, Caliva’s expertise and ethos make them the best partners for this endeavor. We want to create something amazing, have fun in the process, do good and bring people along the way.”

Also, to promote ‘Monogram’, the 50yr old released a new Tidal playlist called ‘Monogram: Sounds From The Grow Room’. Songs on the Playlist include Fela’s “Expensive sh*t” and Peter Touch’s “Legalise it.”
