Comedian and Instagram skit maker Nwagbo Oliver Chidera better known as Pankeeroy has been arrested by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for internet fraud.
The comedian was arrested alongside 37 others. Meanwhile, his arrest was annouced on Thursday, April 22nd by the EFFC.

According to the EFFC, Pankeeroy was involved in Bitcoin scam. He claims he took up the illicit act while suffering from depression.

He allegedly presents himself as a vendor who redeems bitcoin vouchers using a bitcoin platform to defraud unsuspecting victims.
A Mercedes Benz worth N32 Millon and other exotic properties were also in his possession.

Pankeeroy is an Instagram comedian and skit maker with over 500,000 ( five hundred thousand) followers. He’s a graduate of The Redeemers University, Ede.
Meanwhile, the EFCC says the suspects will soon be charged to court.
