22nd December 2020 is one day Instagram Influencer Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle aka Tunde Ednut will not forget in a hurry. This is because, on this day, his Instagram page got deleted. His page which boasts of over 2.7 million followers is nowhere to be found on the app.
Meanwhile, Tunde Ednut’s ordeal is already eliciting diverse reactions from social media users. Some are feeling bad for the influencer given that he has spent years growing his page. On the other hand, there are a few who are elated that his page has disappeared on Instagram.
This is because, for some, Tunde Ednut has used his page for cyberbullying, For example, the influencer was quick to drag ex BBNaija housemate Nina Onyenobi after her exit from the reality show in 2018. Tunde made fun of Nina for a video she dropped on Instagram. He threw jibes at the video saying it was of low quality because of her Android phone. Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh came to Nina’s rescue by gifting her the latest iPhone X.
She also ensured to advice the influencer not to use his platform to tear people down. Tunde Ednut in his usual fashion lashed at Tonto, stating she has a failed music career.
The most recent on his list of controversies is his altercation with relationship blogger Joro Olumofin. Apparently, Tunde Ednut took to his Instagram page to allege that Joro’s love stories are fake and fictional and not sent by his followers.
Joro who took great offense over the allegations took legal action against Tunde for defamation while revealing that the influencer is an illegal immigrant in America who ran away after a failed music career in Nigeria.
