Infinix announces the Hot 12 alongside the Note 12 as its next mid-range smartphone. Both devices are rivals in almost every department, and you can see Infinix Note 12 specs here. Now, what makes the Hot 12 better?
Infinix Hot 12 specs and features
The coming Hot 12 may not be too different from its rival, the Note 12, but you can see that it features a larger screen of 6.82 inches at first glance. For those whose ‘thing’ is a larger screen, you can make your choice here. (Note that this is an IPS LCD HD+ screen, not AMOLED).
However, a peek under the hood shows that Hot 12 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85, which is slightly less powerful than the Note 12’s chipset.

On the back, the smartphone packs three cameras: a 13MP lead camera, a 2MP auxiliary module and an AI lens. While there is no info on what the selfie camera capability is, we noticed that it uses a punch-hole cutout design instead of its rival’s teardrop aesthetic.
Infinix Hot 12 straight-up offers a 6GB RAM backed up by 128GB storage space and a microSD option. It is unclear what the other variants (if they exist) would offer differently. And as if this is not enough, it will be starting its life with Android 12.
It is found lacking in the power department because while it matches the Note 12’s 5,000mAh battery offering, it still has only the 18W charging support. This disparity means that it will take longer to juice up the Hot 12 battery.
Although its price is not yet available, the Infinix Hot 12 will likely cost around the same thing as the Note 12. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be competitors, would they?
